What does the 50% figure refer to?

Eterna’s historical litepaper describes allocating half of its net income collectively to EHX stakers. It describes individual allocations influenced by holdings and staking duration. This is a platform-level pool, not a promise to refund half of every trader’s fees.

Check the current program before staking

That publication establishes the model, but does not establish today’s operating terms. Confirm the current income basis, eligible staking product, distribution currency, schedule, weighting and withdrawal rules in the official application or with support.

A simple illustration of a shared pool

Hypothetical eligible net income$100,000
50% collective pool$50,000
At a hypothetical 0.1% pool entitlement$50

Arithmetic only: $100,000 × 50% × 0.1% = $50. Not actual platform income, an observed payout or a forecast. Actual entitlement depends on the program’s rules.

Three separate numbers

  1. Trading fees: what you pay for executions.
  2. Staking distributions: what the applicable program allocates to you.
  3. Net economic result: includes EHX price changes, acquisition costs and any lockup or withdrawal constraints.

Is this the same as “0% fees” or payback?

No. Promotional credits, personal fee rebates and a collective income-sharing pool are different mechanisms. Do not subtract a historical distribution percentage from your trading fee rate. Our fee calculator keeps the execution cost separate.

Before committing EHX

  • Read the active staking terms and any lockup period.
  • Check distribution records and whether rewards are withdrawable.
  • Understand the token’s liquidity and price exposure.
  • Confirm whether the offer applies to your account and region.
